The third meeting of the SBI was held on a virtual format.
This informal, virtual event has prepared for the third meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Implementation (SBI 3). The event took place to maintain momentum in the preparation for the fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and related meetings, including the development of the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
The informal sessions was held for three hours each day, from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Montreal time, and interpretation was provided in all UN languages.
