Young leaders driving transformative change: working together for youth-positive post-2020 commitment

GO BACK
Our project will keep supporting GYBN and other youth networks in their efforts to implement an ambitious roadmap for the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.

The Global Youth Biodiversity Network and Post2020 Biodiversity Framework - EU Support just renewed the commitment to their partnership as youth advocacy and the intergenerational equity concept are gaining traction on the way to COP15.

Intergenerational equity, Transformative change, Youth.

Post2020 Biodiversity Framework – EU Support will work hand-in-hand with GYBN and world youth constituencies to call decision-makers to action and raise awareness as part of the BiodiversityNeedsYouTH campaign. This cross-cutting initiative implemented in partnership with Youth movements, intends to rally all generations, around the urgent need to protect biodiversity ahead of CBD COP15. Several milestones have been identified to advocate for youth mobilization along the Post-2020 process, at national and international levels.

The Global Youth Biodiversity Network (GYBN) is an international network of youth organizations and individuals from every global region who have united together with a common goal: preventing the loss of biodiversity and preserving Earth’s natural resources.
