Biodiversity mainstreaming, rights-based approaches and innovative governance are key to achieve transformative change in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). The region has many positive experiences, which could facilitate an early implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF) and contribute to interregional and international dialogues.
