This Science-Policy dialogue brought together scientists and policy makers and engage them in a transparent dialogue on how to bring the negotiation process forward on transformative change, taking up work of the Convention on Biological Diversity and the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES).
The participatory, hands-on webinar highlighted the role of research and innovation as enabler of transformative change. It also led to the identification of research and knowledge priorities for the next EU framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon Europe.
Organisers of this workshop are the European Commission and the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, supported by EKLIPSE, the EU-funded science-policy mechanism on biodiversity and ecosystem services, and Post-2020 Biodiversity Framework. EU Support, an EU-funded project implemented by Expertise France.
