GYBN Colombia is working for a young, biodiverse and transformational agenda in the process of the Conference of the Parties on Biological Diversity.
After the consultation, GYBN Colombia organized an intergenerational dialogue with more than 40 participants from different sectors, including representatives from the Ministry of Environment and Youth Secretariat Department Colombia Joven, Colombia University, European Union in Colombia, Secretary of Environment of Bogota and many NGO and youth organizations.
During this dialogue, Colombia youth presented their 16 youth priorities with the intentions to share to all stakeholders the Colombian youth recommendations for the development of the Global Framework Biodiversity Post 2020.
GYBN Colombia also made a call to all stakeholders to work collectively to strengthen the capacities and positions of the region in this global process where our future will be defined.
